composite wood floors, carpets, carpet fillers and other interior materials, to
detect formaldehyde emissions, and to classify test products; The predictive
model evaluates indoor air quality.
Working principle: Put a sample with a
surface area of 1 square meter into the temperature chamber to control the
temperature, relative humidity, and a certain value of the air flow rate. The
formaldehyde in the sample is released, mixed with air, periodically extracted
in the air, and the air extracted through the absorption bottle is filled with
distilled water, and all the formaldehyde in the air is dissolved in water, and
the amount of formaldehyde and the air in the absorption solution are measured.
The volume of extraction, expressed in micrograms per cubic meter (mg / m),
calculates the amount of formaldehyde per cubic meter of air. The sampling is
cyclic until the formaldehyde concentration in the test chamber is balanced.
